When Choosing A Company, Always Check With The Better Business Bureau
If your are questioning whether your
home has aluminum wiring as branch
circuits in it, as a rule of thumb, if it was
built between 1965 and the mid 1970’s it
more than likely does. And if your house
was built before 1965 and additional
rooms were added during this time it was
probably wired in aluminum.

period listed above and you are
experiencing the following symptoms,
please contact an electrical contractor as
soon as you can.

  • Warm-to-the-touch face plates on
    outlets or switches;
  • Flickering lights
  • Circuits that don’t work
  • The smell of burning plastic at
    outlets or switches
Remember, for your family's protection, to ask the electrical company before you hire them to
show you their state contracting license, their individual electrical license and weather or not
the company has liability insurance.
