placement. Some of the questions here reflect contractors not working within a municipally and
therefore are not required to permit the job, or to show proof of licensing.
- If the installer is installing the electrical pipe and wiring, ask if the company has a Texas
Electrical Contracting License and current liability insurance.
- Likewise, if the installer is installing electrical pipe and or wiring, ask if he/she has a Texas
Electrical License.
- For in-ground pools, have the installer point out grounding and bonding points.
- Are all receptacles and lighting GFCI protected and placed at the proper distance from the
pool edge?
